Physiotherapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing your quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment/intervention,and rehabilitation. This encompasses physical, psychological, emotional, and social well being.

Sabrina believes that the best approach to healing is to use a combination of strategies. She employs education, manual therapy, modalities and exercise in order to treat tissue and joint restrictions and help improve flexibility and strength. She enjoys working with clients to achieve their goals for a functional and pain free lifestyle. Sabrina graduated with two degrees from McMaster University: a Masters in Science and Physiotherapy and a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She has completed Manual therapy Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, KinesioTaping™, and Mulligan mobilization techniques. She is also certified in Acupuncture (AA1 & AA2) from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.

Sabrina has had experience working with a variety of orthopedic conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation and work and motor vehicle accident-related injuries.

Sabrina is an avid sports enthusiast and is known to be a huge Raptors fan. She enjoys keeping a healthy balance in her life outside of work by spending time with friends and family, doing hot yoga and travelling.

Tanesha believes in patient-centred care and aims to guide individuals along their unique rehab journey. She includes various aspects to treatment such as manual therapy, modalities, exercise and education to improve each person’s function. She encourages and supports patients every step of the way towards their goal of returning to a pain-free lifestyle.

Tanesha graduated from Western University with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. She first joined our team as a Kinesiologist where she developed a strong background in rehabilitative exercise. Tanesha continued her adventure in the UK and completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham. She is very excited to have returned to the team as a physiotherapy resident.

Tanesha was an athlete while growing up and continues to enjoy exercising as part of her healthy balanced lifestyle. She enjoys trying new restaurants and seeing the latest movie releases. Tanesha caught the travel bug across the pond, so she is always thinking up her next trip!
